Adjacent to our cul-de-sac and our spacious screen house, and featuring a log paved walkway (reminiscent of the Appalachian Trail), the Blue Jay Cottage features a front setting porch with and additional sliding glass door. It's location lends itself to seclusion and quiet enjoyment of the pristine view of Androscoggin Lake. Once inside the Blue Jay, guests feel right at home with the calming blue and beige decor, open and spacious kitchen and dining area, as well as comfortable furnishings.
The first cottage built, actually built by Richard himself, was the template for each and every one of the cottages that followed. Throughout Loon cottage is the evidence of Barbara's attention to detail; from the loon decor, to the handmade quilts on the beds. The Loon cottage's location offers both privacy and a close proximity to the recreation field. The cottage features a front porch that allows guests to enjoy a view to exceptional sunsets, Androscoggin Lake and Angell Cove's private beach. The cozy interior, highlighting the loon motif, features solid pine paneling, comfortable furniture and accessories with a predominantly burgundy and blue color scheme.
The Mallard is one of Angell Cove's original cottages. The Mallard's location in the complex and front porch feature, lets guests take in a wide view of Androscoggin lake, the private beach and children's playground. A black sand island that is home to a pair of Bald Eagles, sunsets to the west, and a variety of water birds are just a few of mother nature's gift's that you will enjoy. The Mallard cottage's interior decor embraces guests with it's green colors, open sitting area (featuring a large, comfy chaise lounge) and a woodsy feel.
